Headless Horseman

Conner Prairie is an interactive history park 5 minutes away from our home and we decided to get a membership this year so we could experience some of the cool things they have to do there through the year. This time of year is the Headless Horseman. We had heard mixed reviews about this and decided we needed to try it out ourselves. We all had a blast. They give out tickets for the rides as you enter the park and we got the 8 o'clock wagon ride which was perfect. While waiting for our time to come we saw a puppet show, creepy animals and bones, listened to some scare-e-oke, and heard some scary stories that were true stories from Indiana history. The actual wagon ride was full of people jumping out of bushes, a dancing skeleton, and the headless horseman riding his horse right up to our wagon several times. He got a little too close to Alexa and Dayton a couple of times. So our review....Headless Horseman is definitely worth our membership. The kids can't wait to go again.

It reminds me of the Haunted Woods at Wheeler Farm. Only it's a walking tour...Yikes! There's nothing like a good scare! Happy Haunting! Do you get to harvest maple syrup in the early spring there?

I love that! You are making such fun memories with your kids. I'm sure they will reminise about your experiences for years to come.
