Have I mentioned how talented my mom really is? She knits. She has been knitting Christmas socks for many years and often carries with her a basket or bag with yarn, knitting needles, and a small pair of scissors. Well this visit she came armed with knitting needles to share. The kids have had a great time learning this new skill. Now just for the record, I know how to crochet. I tried to teach my kids how to do so and they determined it was too hard...so now they are super excited to knit. These are some of the creations they have made.
