great idea to paint! we still cut and get grossed out end up laughing in the end. Nate I'm just wondering about the shape of your pumpkin...did you have other thoughts when picking it out?...
Well I agree too. Good idea with painting the pumpkins. I never thought of it. It is messy and yucky to carve them. I am going to suggest painting our pumpkins tonight to the kids but I can hear it now "But we want to have candles in our pumpkins!" -Natalie
I have spent that last 2 years feeling incredibly guilty for not scrapbooking the pile of photos I have sitting in my closet. I have the best of intentions just not a lot of time. So...as I have gone through denial, guilt, hopefullness, and just plain neglect I was inspired by several friends who have convinced me that blogging is the answer. I must confess, they are right. I love that I can sit down and quickly jot down some cute story or memory and then share it but more importantly save it for my kids to enjoy one day as they are able to remember the silly, crazy, tender, and sometimes stressful moments we have shared.

What great pumpkins! I love the painting idea. Every year I try to convince Dave to let us just paint them. But no we always carve which is too messy.
