Oquirrah Temple

Nathan found out that we were going to be in Utah while the Oquirrah temple open house was going on so we got tickets and went with Shannon, my sister-in-law and her kids and my biological dad, David. What a neat experience to share with our kids. We parked in a gravel lot and golf carts picked us up and took us to the tent where we watched a video about temples. Then we walked into the temple and were able to see all of the beautiful rooms. In one place there are little bubbles in the glass and in every bubble you are able to see a picture of the Savior. We were able to sit down in a sealing room and listen to a couple, who was celebrating their 10 year anniversary, bear testimony of eternal families. This was an incredible experience and I hope our kids will remember what they felt while inside the temple.
After our time at the temple we went to eat at Golden Corral. You'd have thought the kids had dies and gone to heaven. All you can eat and the yummiest dessert bar. Could this day get any better, I submit that it could not.
